As seen in the June 2026 issue of Model Aviation.

I want to welcome you to AMA’s National Fun Fly and 90th anniversary celebration, which will take place on June 25-28 at the International Aeromodeling Center (IAC) in Muncie, Indiana!

Have you registered to attend yet? You can do so at modelaircraft.org/funfly. There are links on the National Fun Fly website for pilots to preregister and to register for the swap shop. Farther down the page, there are links to reserve a campsite. Hotels that offer AMA discounts are also listed, as well as their phone numbers.

The AMA National Fun Fly is the premier annual celebration of model aviation. The event attracts pilots for open flying, a swap meet, and, of course, to tour the National Model Aviation Museum, which is located on-site at the world-renowned IAC alongside the AMA Headquarters.

The raffle, which will be run by the AMA Foundation, will have many great prizes provided by our sponsors and more. Make sure to get your fill of food from the new AMA Foundation food cart. Look for the swap shop under a large tent, which will be managed by Henry Rauhaus. On-site sign-in and registration will be under the blue AMA tents at Site 3 of the IAC.

I’m looking forward to seeing you there. Come out and have some fun!
