In his "Micro-Flying" column on page 46 of this month’s issue, Joe Malinchak writes about attending the 2025 Flying Aces Club (FAC) non-Nats at the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo, New York. The event was held from July 16-19 and featured several types of Free Flight (FF) model aircraft. It was also attended by Tom Hallman, who has a YouTube channel where he builds a variety of FF models. You can visit Tom’s YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/@maxfliart. If you’d like to try building your own FF model, you can follow along to one of Tom’s YouTube videos, or check out AMA’s Plans Service at https://plans.modelaircraft.org, where you can find a large catalog of FF models from which to choose.
