Build the Grumman Widgeon

In this issue of Model Aviation, on page 16, Paul Kohlmann introduces his 1/8-scale, 60-inch wingspan Grumman Widgeon, a sequel to his 1/12-scale, 49-inch wingspan Grumman Goose that appeared in the May 2012 edition of the magazine (www.modelaviation.com/goose).

In the first installment of this construction article, Paul details the basic framing, from the tail group and the fuselage to the wing, nacelle, and floats. Watch for the installation of servos, finishing the control surfaces, and covering the model, plus the plans to purchase or download, in the next part of the article!
